Finland’s tropical heatwave will continue until at least the middle of the week.
According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute FMI, temperatures could reach up to +31C.
By Wednesday southern Finland and the capital city region will cool down a little, but only to around +25C.
And then by the end of the week, look out for some rain and possible thunder showers.
There’s heat warnings in force for a large part of south and central Finland. At-risk groups like elderly people, children and anyone suffering from heart problem.
Forest fire risk is high, and there’s fire warnings in place for many parts of the country.
