Finnish Formula 1 race ace Kimi Räikkönen didn’t have a great time at the Belgium Grand Prix this weekend – and he made sure to let his support team know it!

On the first turn of the first lap Red Bull driver Max Verstappen collided with the Iceman’s Alfa Romeo.

The crash prompted some colourful language from the 21-time Grand Prix winner.

“Some f**king idiot hit me completely, f**king dicks” he said on the radio with his team.

The crash put Verstappen out of contention completely but the 39-year old Espoo native Räikkönen went on to finish a disappointing 16th.

Bottas gets podium finish

There was better news at the Belgium Grand Prix for the other Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas.

The 30-year old got another podium with 3rd place behind Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton from Britain, and Monaco’s Charles Leclerc. Bottas was more than 12 seconds behind Leclerc in a race that was overshadowed by the death of Formula 2 driver Anthoine Hubert on Saturday.
