Finland’s Krista Pärmäkoski has added another bronze to her Pyeongchang Olympic medal haul, after a dramatic photo-finish to the 10km freestyle cross country ski event.

Race officials couldn’t find any daylight between Pärmäloski and her Norwegian rival Marit Björgen who were both awarded bronze.

Athletes from Norway and Sweden took gold and silver.

This is the second bronze medal for the 27-year-old Finnish ski star, who already bagged her first medal in the skiathlon event on the first day of competition.

“I have been third. The goal is to be even better” Pärmäkoski told reporters after the event.

The medal event takes place in South Korea later today.
