Finns living in the UK will continue to receive their state pensions even if the UK crashes out of the EU with no deal on 31st October.

The Finnish government says it will ensure pension payments continue for one year after Brexit – the same length of time as someone who moves outside the EU would continue receiving their Finnish state pension.

According to the most recent figures 320 people in UK receive a pension, and their average payment is €105.22 per month.

The Government has started a legislative process in parliament, and the bill is due to enter into force in the autumn, from the date UK leaves EU, but only in the event of no withdrawal agreement.
